Question by : AIG or ING insurance company..?
American General Insurance Company or ING ( ReliaStar) can anyone tell me which is the stronger company for term life insurance…which one would be better to go with…thanks so much for any help….

American General is AM Best rated A XV with negative outloook.
ReliaStar is AM Best rated A XIV with negative outlook.
Therefore, American General is more solid.

They are both very good companies. Which one is your financial advisor or insurance broker recommending and how many other companies did they show you?
Just make sure you’re buying it through an insurance broker who is going to be a valuable resource to you. Don’t just buy it off a site that only sells term life insurance because you’re not saving any money and you’re not gaining anything by doing so.
