Question by mosaleah: Has anyone purchased life insurance through Bank of America? What was your experience?
My mom received a letter from Bank of America to acquire additional life insurance (on top of her free $ 1000 coverage) which is underwritten through Monumental Life Insurance Company. Has anyone purchased this? Is it a good idea to have this?

I have to wait till I die to make sure it works good… I’m not sure I’m willing to do that to find out.

    Usually those mailers offering life insurance are not very good. They are generally overpriced for little coverage. If she needs additional insurance, she should find a good independent agent with a few years in the business.
